ICFB News: Bahar, Weighing scale & Prayer request
Wednesday, 25 August 2010
"So Abraham called that place The LORD Will Provide. And to this day it is said, "On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided." Genesis 22:14

Kedves Mindenki,

Saturday Margit Sziget:

This Saturday our sister Bahar would like to make her farewells before she moves to Spain.
We are planning to spend some time together in the open air on Margit Sziget walking around and regarding the rest of our program, we'll just play it by ear.
In addition, Bahar would like to ask if someone has a weighting scale to borrow, it would be a big help for her if one could bring it along on Saturday...Anyhow, she would be delighted to see you all!

Date&Time: 28 August-Saturday, @ 6:00 pm
Meeting place: at the fountain on Margit Island

In case of rain or wanting to join us only later, please call: +36 30 3264346

Prayer request
:

Please find Scarlett's prayer request below, and let's pray for her:

"First, my program in Scotland was canceled for the year (the head professor resigned). So for now, I will be in Florida until God shows me what is next. Thankfully, He has provided two temporary jobs in the mean time.
Secondly, I am really having a hard time adjusting back to life here - especially now that it might be longer than expected. At first I was getting sick from tiredness, the heat and the food. Now it is all the internal stuff. My ideas have changed since I last lived here (which I haven't really lived in FL since before university). My mom's health has gotten a lot worse and she doesn't really care now and then gets angry with me for telling her she can't live like this. And my nephew who is very cute has a bad temper and throws tantrums a lot.
Honestly,  just wish I were ANYWHERE but here. Please pray for me. Please pray that if I am doing things to frustrate them that I would see it and stop. Pray that I could love them in my actions and mind. And pray that the Lord would show me what is next.

I miss you all and my life in Hungary very much. I don't know why the Lord has brought me here, but I am trusting that He knows more than I do.
Again, thank you guys so much for all your support!
Love, Scarlett"

ICFB News: Movie Premier&Accomodation
Wednesday, 18 August 2010
"Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory...Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity." Colossians 3:1-4,12-14

Sziasztok!

Premier of the Hope film (Magyarul)
Marcus asked me list the above mentioned event in the news letter. The movie will be shown in Hungarian so it can be a good practice for you all to iprove your Hungarian language skills:) It's also a great evangelistic tool so invite the un-churched as well.
Brief description of the film:
"It is a story of forgiveness, freedom, and fulfillment. It is the story of what God has done so that people might know Him personally. Imagine that you have a little over an hour to trace this story from its beginning to its end, through the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. The HOPE was prayerfully designed to accomplish that very purpose..." read more
